Give a better futur to child shepherds

Fille de bergers à l'école25.01.2012 - So that the shepherds of Burkina Faso can survive, their children actively participate in the daily chores. They pump water from wells, cut grass and watch the family’s cows and sheep.

Consequently, there is little time left for school. To ensure that these children receive an education, Enfants du Monde supports schools adapted to the needs and rhythms of the shepherd life style. Approximately 280 boys and girls benefit from this initiative.

With 160 Swiss francs, you enable a child to go to school for a year.

Parvez, a student in Dhaka (Bangladesh):
“My mother is a housewife, my father sells shoes.  We don’t have much money. This encourages me to go to school and learn as much as I can, in order to improve my future.  I really appreciate my teacher’s help and support, he’s really committed.  Sometimes he even visits us at home.”

With 225 Swiss francs, you enable a child from the poor neighborhood of Mohammadpur in Dhaka to go to school for a year.
