2) The structure of Enfants du MondeEnfants du Monde is a Swiss non governmental organisation, constituted as an association (under articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code). To find out more, click on the boxes of the organisation chart: With a team of around twelve employees, Enfants du Monde is an organisation of modest, but optimal size: large enough for a certain professional working capacity, yet small enough to remain flexible, consistent in its choices, and maintain low administrative costs. Three regional coordination offices in Burkina Faso, Guatemala and Bangladesh, are responsible for maintaining the link between local partners and the team in Geneva, as well as providing follow-up and support for the health, education and training programmes. The work of Enfants du Monde is also supported and promoted by our goodwill ambassadors, such as Corina Casanova, the Federal Chancellor, the journalist Jean-Philippe Rapp or the musician dodo hug, who is very popular in German-speaking Switzerland. |
By-laws of Enfants du Monde
(in French)
The Cuénoud family, sponsors, Switzerland:
“Enfants du Monde is an organisation whose actions we have always found convincing, limited certainly, yet perfectly targeted and effective. Each project is planned so that local partners can become independent. This is a philosophy which ties in perfectly with our expectations. If one child, one mother, can smile again or face the future more calmly, we know that we made the right choice.”
