With its national campaign “Become a mother, save another”, Enfants du Monde is receiving donations in order to save the lives of future mothers and their babies in the South West of Burkina Faso. In the region of Mangadora, many women are still dying from complications linked to pregnancy or childbirth.

In North Guatemala, students are better at reading, writing and mathematics than in other parts of the country thanks to our teacher training delivered in more than 300 schools. They learn how to provide a quality education with courses in two languages and adapted to the children’s needs, and by placing the student at the heart of the learning dynamic.

Enfants du Monde is deeply saddened to announce the death of its president, Serge Chappatte, on Wednesday 2nd July 2014 after a brief illness, at the age of 72.
